How much do driving lessons cost?
It’s the first question many people ask. It isn’t easy to compare the service you receive from one instructor to the next, unless you take a lesson with them all, which just wouldn’t be practical.
So, how do you know who’s giving the best value for money service, and what should the best service look like to you?
A great service is the way you are made to feel, and the results you get from that service.
Unlike a carpet cleaner who can show the results by the cleanliness of the carpets they have cleaned, driving instructors can only demonstrate the benefits of using their service by the recommendations they receive.
Claims like a high driving test pass are hard to proof because the figure can easily be fudged. Claims of 100% test pass rate just doesn’t ring true, unless the instructor has only taken a couple of tests that, week, month or year which have passed.
You can’t just take test pass figures as a reliable guide to how good the service was from the instructor, or if they provided value for money driving lessons.
A top tip is to search for recommended driving schools, or recommended driving instructors through the social media sites or on internet directories like freeindex, where instructors can’t filter out those reviews with less than five stars.
